AdWords is an Equal Opportunity System

AdWords is an "equal opportunity system" for all currencies. An advertiser can use whatever currency that he finds convenient for his billing method, moreover, irrespective of the country we are targeting, the final AdWords auction happens in USD only.

When determining an Ad Rank, our system converts all the bid values to the US Dollar so that the bids of all the ads in the auction can be compared. However, Ad Rank is calculated using your bid amount, the components of Quality Score (expected click-through rate, ad relevance, and landing page experience), and the expected impact of extensions and other ad formats.

Currency doesn’t play a role in deciding an Ad auction winner. An advertiser don’t have to pay higher when you bid in another currency. Best books on AdWords system:

  1. The option to set a scheduled upload for ads on AdWords is a useful feature that I too implement on regular basis. When I had just started running Google ads, I knew nothing about using the AdWords account. I had then hired Adwords Campaign Management, and have learned much about PPC advertising by working with them till date.
